Carlo Ancelotti looking for a new keeper with England number one struggling

If reports in England are to be believed, newly-appointed Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has ordered the Everton board to find him a new goalkeeper in this transfer window as Jordan Pickford continues to struggle.

It is claimed that England goalkeeper should be wary of his place following a season of ups and downs and Ancelotti is not particularly impressed with his number one keeper.

The Italian manager has managed some of the greatest keepers of the modern era in his illustrious career. The likes of Dida, Gianluigi Buffon, Petr Cech, Manuel Neuer and many more of the best keepers of this generation have played under the three-time Champions League winning gaffer. Ancelotti reportedly does not see Pickford good enough for his future plans.

The former Napoli manager is plotting a host of big deals in the January transfer window and has ordered director of football Marcel Brands to find him a top-class goalkeeper as a competition to the Everton keeper.

Pickford, who is still the most expensive British keeper of all time, has conceded few goals at Everton since he joined the club, which a top-class keeper would never concede.

And, he suffered a real low point in the 1-0 FA Cup third-round defeat by Liverpool last Sunday when Reds youngster Curtis Jones caught him out with a real worldie from outside of the box.

After the game, Pickford mocked the 18-year-old Liverpool wonderkid for a "great cross" in the tunnel and Ancelotti is far from happy with such attitude of his first-choice keeper.

The former Chelsea boss reportedly questioned the attitude of his whole team during an angry dressing-room blast and Gylfi Sigurdsson was another player who faced the wrath of the former Napoli manager.

It is strongly reported that Ancelotti has given up hopes of the Iceland international and is ready to offload him along with a few other big names like Cenk Tosun, Theo Walcott, Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Keane.

It is also claimed that the Italian manager is planning to promote teenage Everton sensation Anthony Gordon to the first-team who was a key part of the Everton side that won the league and cup double with the Under-23s last season.
