Will the Red Devils captain become a Nerazzurri?

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will reportedly be joining Serie A giants Internazionale at the end of the season. His contract with the Red Devils ends at the end of this season.

The England international has been free to talk to foreign clubs ahead of the end of his deal at Manchester.

According to BBC Sport's Simon Stone, Young will become the latest United star to swap Manchester for Milan, following Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez in making the move.

The 34-year-old could leave during the current transfer window too. However, that proposal is yet to be agreed.

A report by the Sun suggests that the Premier League team is eager for Young, one of their longest-serving players, to sign a new deal so that a mid-season transfer is avoided.

Young is considered as an important voice in the squad but Antonio Conte seems to attract him with an offer which he cannot refuse and has assured the player that he still has the fitness and drive to succeed at the highest level.

Ashley Young joined United in 2011 after impressing at Aston Villa and his best season at Old Trafford was during the 2011-12 campaign, firing six league goals in 25 appearances before converting into a left-back, representing England in the same role at the 2018 World Cup.

Ashley Young has been one of the most faithful and dedicated performers and has always tried to give the best for his team.

Young had a brilliant defensive season under Mourinho when United finished second behind their City rivals. He, however, had a tough 2018-19 season and was criticized a lot for his performances.

Everything began with the Barcelona game where Young was unable to whip the ball well and it disappointed many fans as United failed to score a single goal in both the legs combined.

Let's see what the next season unfolds. Will Young reunite with his ex-teammates at Inter or will he sign a new deal with Manchester United?
