As Manchester United chase the young Norweian sensation Erling Braut Haaland, there is a worry among the top brass of the club that Haaland’s arrival might lead to the departure of their star midfielder Paul Pogba, who is reportedly willing to leave the club.

The interesting point of the whole saga is that both Haaland and Pogba are represented by the same agent and he is quite a famous one named Mino Raiola.

The Red Devils’ hierarchy believes that Raiola will get the Haaland deal done for them, but at the cost of Pogba’s exit, which they don’t want at this stage.

When the United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about both Haaland and Pogba having the same agent, he said, “I don’t have any issues about who represents players because I don’t really speak to them. I have got nothing to do with the money.”

Ole has never hidden his desire of keeping Pogba at the club, but Pogba himself is not happy at Old Trafford at the moment as he desires to move away in a bid to play Champions League football, which is not guaranteed at United next season as well.

For a player of the stature of Pogba, who is easily one of the best playmakers in the game and is a World Cup winner as well, it’s obvious that he would want to play Champions League football in the peak of his career.

While United is a very reputed club, arguably the most reputed in the world, the fact of the matter is that they are currently not offering Champions League football.

Hence, not only will they face difficulty in landing the big players, they might even face difficulty in holding on to their big names as well, as they are currently facing in case of Pogba.
