Race heating up for £63m rated Real Madrid midfield ace

London duo Arsenal and Chelsea are both eyeing up an ambitious move for £63 million-rated Real Madrid midfielder Isco as the Spanish giants look to raise funds for a summer spending spree.

It is believed that the Los Blancos are eyeing up an audacious record-breaking move for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

And, they need to raise the cash from selling a few of their players and Isco is among the names Zinedine Zidane wants to be offloaded.

As per reports in Spain, Real Madrid are unlikely to face any issue in finding a suitor for the Spanish playmaker.

If reports in Spain are to be believed, the former European Golden Boy is wanted by as many as four clubs across Europe.

But, it is believed that Chelsea and Arsenal are leading the race for the signature of the 27-year-old.

Meanwhile, there is also interest from Pep Guardiola's Manchester City. The Cityzens are long admirers of the Spaniard and have been linked on several occasions in the past.

Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the situation of the Spaniard and Real Madrid will be happy to include the Spaniard in a deal for Mbappe to lower the fee.

Mbappe is almost certain to quit the Ligue 1 giants this summer for a move to Santiago Bernabeu, so PSG may be wise to sell to Real in order to get a quality player in return.

Isco signed for Real Madrid from Malaga back in 2013 but could never really become an automatic first-choice in the team.

However, the Spaniard has been reborn this season after a 2018-19 to forget.

His row with the then-boss Santiago Solari saw him axed from the first-team squad but under Zinedine Zidane, he has been pretty much a regular in the team this season.

Isco is under contract until 2022 and Real Madrid are willing to cash in on him as his value is still quite high.

It is understood that Los Blancos want somewhere near £63m for the services of the Spaniard but could even be ready to lower their asking price.
