Paul Pogba keen to move to Real Madrid according to the reports

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has kept on saying in the last couple of months that Paul Pogba is in his future plans and the only reason he is not playing at the moment is because he is not fully fit.

However, it has been reported by the Mirror that the 26-year old might not feature for the Red Devils again as he is keen on a move to the La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Pogba was expected to take part in the League Cup fixture against Colchester earlier this week, but he didn’t play because of a “mystery illness”.

The Frenchman had travelled back home to participate in the wedding ceremony of his brother, but he had to return for the Colchester game. He, however, fell ill and couldn’t make it to the game.

Ole though still didn’t drop any hints that Pogba was planning a move away when he was asked why the star midfielder didn’t feature in the game. The United boss simply said that Pogba was ill and also insisted that he wanted to get him back into action gradually and not in a rush.

According to Ole, there is no question about Pogba’s quality. It’s just about his fitness at the moment. Once he gets match fit and has minutes under his belt, he will be a key player for United.

“Of all things, he’s dropped down ill now. As I’ve said so many times, Paul’s a top, top player who we want to see playing his best Football. We just need to get him fit, match fit might be half-hour, 45, 60, 90 [minutes].” Ole was quoted saying in the post-match press conference.

It is understood that the Red Devils are in no mood to let Pogba go at a price of anything less than £150 million.
