Aston Villa star makes Manchester United his 'dream' destination
According to rumors around England, Jack Grealish has chosen Manchester United as his next destination over Spanish Giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The Telegraph reports that the Aston Villa sensation looks to 'test himself at the higher levels' and it appears that Old Trafford has become his ultimate destination.
It seems that the Red Devils have cooled their interest on Leicester city star James Maddison. Now they have turned their heads to sign the 24-year old who has been significant for the Villans this season.
The Birmingham born player has registered nine goals and seven assists so far this season and his recent outings have won praise among the football pundits. The eye-catching performances of Grealish have alerted top clubs all around Europe.
Even though many clubs are indulging themselves in a tug-of-war to get the player's signature, it is evident that he will sign for Manchester United in the upcoming summer.
United have been facing a tough time and they also look to offload fallen stars such as Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba. The board has reportedly got fed up owing to their actions and their transfers have proven to be a waste of money.
Grealish's contract at Villa Park runs until 2023 and he is valued at €60 million. United recently signed Bruno Fernandes to strengthen their resources in attack and the addition of Jack Grealish will surely make the club as one of the strongest teams in Europe.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the backing of the Glazers as he continues to rebuild his team back to where they were earlier. His first preference lies in young English talents that suit his style of play. He also looks to shrug away the disappointment and frustration faced by the club faithful by all means.
United has failed to attract top tier players due to the struggles they've faced in the recent seasons. But Grealish's wish to become a Red Devil is a boon and Manchester United will surely look to seal the transfer very soon.
