Virat Kohli Becomes First Batter to Score 9000 Runs in IPL History

Virat Kohli made history for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 against Lucknow Super Giants. When he reached 24 runs, Kohli became the first player to amass 9,000 runs for RCB. The former Indian captain showcased his explosive form by smashing a quick half-century off just 27 balls. In addition to this milestone, Kohli achieved another remarkable feat by becoming the first batter to cross 600 runs in five different IPL seasons. Combining his IPL and now-defunct Champions League T20 performances, Kohli is RCB’s highest-ever run-scorer. His impressive innings came to an end at 54 runs.
