Chelsea Trophy Count: How Many Titles Have They Won in History?
Premier League giants Chelsea, one of the most successful clubs in England and across Europe, boast a storied history filled with major titles and memorable triumphs.
Having already lifted both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, Chelsea now stand on the brink of history as they prepare to compete in the 2024–2025 UEFA Europa Conference League final. A victory would make them the first club to win all three of UEFA’s current major club competitions — a unique and prestigious European treble.
Since the abolition of the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1999, only two major European club tournaments remained—until the introduction of the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2021, which revived the trio of continental competitions. So far, the winners of the new tournament—Roma, West Ham United, and Olympiacos—have had limited success in European finals historically.
This opens the door for Chelsea to potentially become the most prestigious club to win the newly established trophy.
In this context, we take a closer look at all of Chelsea’s major trophies and their historical success. Notably, a significant portion of the club’s silverware came during the transformative ownership of Roman Abramovich.
How many trophies have Chelsea won?

Over the course of their long and illustrious history, Chelsea have won 34 major trophies. This impressive tally includes two UEFA Champions League titles and six top-flight English league championships (excluding their two Second Division titles). Their most recent triumph came in February 2022, when they secured their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup title.
Chelsea entered the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League as defending champions, having won the title in the 2020–21 season. Under the leadership of Thomas Tuchel, the Blues secured a 1–0 victory over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the final, held in Porto. The decisive goal came in the 42nd minute from Kai Havertz.
Later that year, Chelsea added another trophy by winning the UEFA Super Cup. After a 1–1 draw with Villarreal, they triumphed in the penalty shootout.
Chelsea also claimed the UEFA Europa League title in the 2018–19 season. Domestically, their most recent major trophy was the FA Cup, which they won in 2017–18—just a year after securing the Premier League title. Since then, however, they have faced disappointment in domestic cup competitions, finishing as runners-up in three FA Cup finals and three EFL Cup finals.
