Oklahoma City Thunder vs Brooklyn Nets: NBA 2020/21 Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets will be hoping for a triumph on Friday again as they play Oklahoma City Thunder. Both the teams had a week without a defeat, but the streak is set to end for one of them today.

The Brooklyn Nets have started to show signs of extreme dominance when it comes to the offensive part of the game. On the other hand, Oklahoma City Thunder have started to pick form too, with two victories in the same week.

City Thunders were very unfortunate to lose Chris Paul and Steven Adams in the offseason but the replacements have done quite a job in the recent games.

The team knows their defensive capabilities, and it is no secret that it is not top-notch. However, the saying 'attack is the best form of defense' works here well as their trio, the likes of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Harden have lit up the stage at several moments in the competition.

The three managed a combined 89 points in their last meeting with Atlanta, and with an attack potentially capable of sinking any side is only expected to improve from where they stand at the moment.

The Thunders began their week by asserting their dominance over the Trail Blazers and then the Suns, taking full avail of the Suns missing stars. Luguentz Dort has been an important member of the side and he has shown his qualities very well in the league, despite this being his second year only.

As far as their most recent game is concerned, Oklahoma City kept Phoenix away from causing them any sorts of trouble, despite trailing by 15 points in the first quarter of the game.

Al Horford and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander were instrumental in the side's display and deserve mentions as Horford took hold of 11 boards, while Alexander managed seven rebounds and eight assists.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction

Brooklyn Nets average 119.8 points per game, the second-most in the Nba, while Oklahoma City Thunder's points per game is 106.2. The latter concedes 112.4 points per game, while the former is does no better with conceding 115.8 per game.

However, it's the Nets' firepower that tends to help them towards the end and Thunders would have to find a way not to score more and leak less.

With some key players out, Thunders will have to do a lot.
