Brok-elona

This is a taunt flung by opposition fans and neutrals to make fun of the financial situation the recent mishandling that have put FC Barcelona in a precarious situation due to their attempts to come up with smart moves to circumvent and still compete at the top level which at times comes of as cartoonish. This is used the most during transfer windows where Barcelona is linked or has tried to sign players and others mocking them that they cannot afford said players in the first place now whereas they could do earlier. They would still like to project that their pull and status is equally backed up by their financial health whereas it has not been all roses for some time now.

Var-drid

This is a taunt which is used to imply that Real Madrid due to their stature, history, financial muscle and general influence on La Liga is able to favourably influence the Video Assistance Referee for their own benefit especially during close calls. The resulted said decision in the match going their way often being 50-50 situations and the opposition fans feeling their team was being hard done by. Although their has not been any recent proof of the same, but the online community continues to use it as ammo in online to this day and beyond although VAR in itself is a topic of ridicule on it's own for some.

Farmers League

This is not a per se criticism of any one particular club, but is a general critique/ trolling attempt to make the other person know that their favourite team partakes in La Liga in this case is not competitive and quality wise is heavily skewed towards the top. Although there have been upsets and at times the hegemony of traditionally strong clubs have had their nervy moments for the most part the status quo has been maintained. While labelling La Liga as a farmers league does have some merit to it, to La Liga's credit they are a lot more competitive than their naysayers would like to give the final verdict is up to you.

Var-celona

Similar to the connotation that Real Madrid have been associated with owing to their status of being a traditionally heavyweight. This as an attempted verbal volley is highly effective owing to their association with a Referee bribing scandal. They have been very recently cleared of official but as far as trial by social media is concerned, it is here to stay for a while that is for sure.

The "P" - fication of players

Although this prefix is used to belittle players all around the world who are accused of stat padding via penalties, the general association has come to include players who the opposition fans want to let the other person know that the said player who plays for the club of their choice is indeed in fact over rated. Some examples include the now iconic Pessi and Penaldo even though they have long left La Liga but their legacy continues to live on even to this day.

Honorable mention include Putas, Cholo Ball, artes oscuras ingles to name a few others right of the bat.
