EPL Week 33 Prediction: Premier League 2021/2022 | GW 33 Fixtures

With FA Cup semi-finals on the horizon, week 33 of the Premier League is curtailed to just six matches as big boys, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City join Crystal Palace in the hunt for cup glory.

So with the Premier League title race on hold the Top four race and relegation battle take center stage over the course of the weekend.

1. Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton

Six wins in seven for Spurs has seen them take pole position in the battle for the top four. With Kane, Son and Kulusevski in top form Spurs will be outright favourites to clinch the points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Opposition Brighton will be high on morale as they beat Arsenal last weekend, in-process making a big favour to Spurs.

However, prior to that Brighton had a dismal spell in the Premier League and had scored only two goals in seven. It's hard to predict which Brighton will turn out on Saturday, but Spurs look odds on favourite to win.

EPL Prediction: Spurs 3-1 Brighton

2. Manchester United vs Norwich City

Realistically, both Manchester United and Norwich targeted fourth place, one from the top and the other from the bottom.

However, none has succeeded in doing so as Manchester United have lost its path in recent times with calls for next season already underway.

The situation isn't different at Norwich as they look forward to next season with relegation a certainty.

Last week's win against Burnley could be too little too late for Norwich as Dean Smith and his side prepare for next season.

EPL Prediction: Manchester United 3-0 Norwich

3. Southampton vs Arsenal

Southampton were dismantled 0-6 on home turf last weekend as Chelsea gave them a reality check.

The Saints will be looking for a positive response as they try to bounce back from the capitulation. A win will be a welcome addition for Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side as they try to end the season on a high.

Opposition Arsenal have endured a tough few weeks in the Premier League as they have now lost three in four Premier League games. Injury to key players has left the loopholes wide open as teams are exploiting them in a flash.

Last week's defeat against Brighton goes down as a big loss considering their form, but a quick turnaround should be the need of the hour.

EPL Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Arsenal

4. Watford vs Brentford

Watford's survival chances look slim, but not improbable as they try to fight for their place in the Premier League.

A defeat to Leeds last time out was their eighth in a row on home turf which makes their situation even worse.

The prospect of relegation will only get stronger as another below-par performance from Roy Hodgson's men could spell the beginning of the end.

Brentford have trained out to be a surprise package of the season as they are almost certain to retain their top-flight status.

Back-to-back derby wins against Chelsea and West Ham have seen The Bees march on to a solid end to the season, as preparations start for next season.

EPL Prediction: Watford 2-0 Brentford

5. West Ham United vs Burnley

West Ham United are enjoying some of the Best periods in their entire history as they are on the brink of European success after beating Lyon in the midweek.

From the look of things, winning the Europa League looks only ambition while they stand six points clear of Spurs in fourth, having played a match more.

With one eye on Europe, midweek football might have taken its toll on the Hammers so it remains a tough job against Burnley.

Opposition Burnley are in news for the last 24 hours after they parted company with Sean Dyche, who was in charge for more than a decade.

The defeat against Norwich was a hard pill to swallow, as the clouds of relegation get even stronger.

EPL Prediction: West Ham United 3-1 Burnley

6. Newcastle United vs Leicester City

Newcastle United have turned the tables in the season as they try to end it on high after having initial struggles. Eddie Howe's side needs a solid end to the season while they still have work to do, provided they are technically not yet safe.

Leicester City could be completing a grandslam of titles by the end of the season as they overcame a rough European battle to book a place in the Europa Conference League.

A win against Newcastle would be a perfect fit for Brendon Rodgers' side as they try to improve their position in the Premier League.

EPL Prediction: Newcastle United 1-1 Leicester City
