After being absent for a year in the IPL, franchises were eager to get Ben Stokes in their team as he is a match-winner with both bat and ball. The 31-year-old had an impressive outing in the T20 World Cup. His knock of 52* in the T20 World Cup final redeemed himself after the 2016 T20 World Cup final.

The England captain is a good buy for CSK as he is a good replacement for Dwayne Bravo. Stokes can bat anywhere in the top order and bowl a couple of overs when required.
