Midfield maestro, Kevin De Bruyne, is in the form of his life

Kevin De Bruyne has been in top-notch form in the 2019-20 Premier League season with six goals and 10 assists in 16 games, starting in 15 of them.

Having had a fabulous season so far, De Bruyne had one of his best games against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

He scored two goals and helped in setting up the goal scored by Raheem Sterling. In a Manchester City side which is struggling to fight for the title currently, De Bruyne has been the most consistent ray of hope.

Manchester City, this season, have suffered a lot due to injuries too, forcing key mid-fielder Fernandinho, to take the centre-back role due to shortage of able defenders in the team.

De Bruyne is on a great run of games wherein the goals and the assists have been creative as well as signs of sheer intelligence.

The Belgian has scored three goals from inside the box and the same amount of goals from outside the box too. De Bruyne has proved himself as the puppet master in the City midfield yet again.

He is scoring with both his feet, leaving doubts if he has a weaker foot. This season till now has seen a complete performance from the Belgian, leaving no questions about his game that were probably raised because of an injury-prone 18-19 season.

The ex-Chelsea man records key passes, successful dribbles in almost every game he is a part of.

The midfield maestro still has a long way to go, being just 28 years of age. Kevin De Bruyne, despite his age, has already been lauded as one of the best midfielders of the world and the best the Premier League has witnessed.

Such an appreciation received in the presence of so many other world-class players like Sergio Aguero and David Silva in the Manchester City team, says a lot about De Bruyne.

His goal against Newcastle United has already been considered as one of the best goals of the season and his performance doesn’t seem to deteriorate anytime soon.
