Millions of athletes have Kobe Bryant as their inspiration to this day; it was the “Mamba Mentality” that kept Kobe pushing throughout his career.

Kobe Bryant was known for his work ethic, which is yet to be matched by anyone. Kobe’s numbers are still astonishing but numbers don’t do justice to how he was.

Where basketball players dream about scoring 60 points in a game, Kobe Bryant did it during the last game of his career, that’s the kind of player Kobe Bean Bryant was.

Kobe Bryant: Career Overview

Kobe Bryant’s father was a former basketball player, who played in both Italy and NBA. It is fair to say Kobe outdid his father’s career.

Kobe Bryant was only 18 when he decided to skip college to join the NBA right after he graduated high school. Kobe Bryant became an NBA All-Star in only his second season in the NBA.

He paired up the former MVP Shaquille O’Neal to form one of the most dominant teams in Basketball history.

The Lakers would see themselves winning 3 consecutive NBA Championships with the team they had formed.

After 2002, the Lakers would struggle for many years before getting back to winning ways in 2009 and 2010. Kobe Bryant would end his career with 5 Championships and 1 MVP.

The solo MVP award seems way too less for someone like Kobe Bryant, and it is as he was robbed multiple years of it. Regardless, people know how great Kobe’s legacy is regardless of the number of MVPs he’s won.
