Takehiro Tomiyasu celebrates his first Premier League goal(FullReplays)

Formation - 4-3-3

Bernd Leno - Fulham

Goalkeeper

Bernd Leno proved to be the best keeper in week 10 of the Premier League after he faced a tough Brighton side. The player was superb in earning his team a well-deserved point as he saved some vital goal-scoring shots against a well-attacking Brighton side. The German shot-stopper saved a a shot by Simon Adring in the latter part of the game to deny Brighton a vital win considering their poor run of form in the past few games.

Max Aarons - Bournemouth

Right-back

The Cherries finally have a win in the current Premier League campaign as they defeated relegation battlers Burnley. Max Aarons proved to be the best player in the side as he worked hard to combine with goal scorer Antoine Semenyo for the goal down the flank. The England under-21 international won 11 out of his 12 duels during the game which earned him a spot in the Premier League team of the Week 10.

Jarrad Branthwaite - Everton

Centre back

Most numbers of clearances, most regained possession with the most duels won Jarrad Branthwaite confirms his spot as a centre-back in the Premier League team of the week 10, not even goal scorer Dominic Calvert Lewin got a place this time out. Everton's win against West Ham was a crucial one for them to move away from the relegation places to remain in the premier league.

William Saliba - Arsenal

Centre Back

An ever presence in the heart of Arsenal's defense, the right-footed center-half is proving to be the only missing piece in Mille Arteta’s lineup during the latter stages of the 2022-2023 season which they might have won if he had been there. With a clean sheet to his name, he took time to rehab while his toe was injured during the international break and since then on he has been pivotal in every match just like the last one.

Lucas Digne - Aston Villa

Left-back

The former Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona, and Everton defender was deemed surplus to requirements at Villa Park during the start of the season and so was Alex Moreno. An injury to him brought the unwanted defender back to the starting lineup, upon which he hasn’t wasted a single opportunity with sublime displays every Matchday.

Declan Rice - Arsenal

Midfielder

The most valuable addition to the team, also brought for a record fee has been the driving force in the midfield. Mostly getting a score of 7+ in terms of form he yet again delivers against a weaker side than usual Sheffield United with some dominant midfield displays. His ball-carrying and immense stamina to cover almost all of the ground in terms of offense and defensiveness have been the best qualities so far out.

Bernardo Silva - Manchester City

Midfield

A quality player that Pep didn’t want to lose at all during the start of the season when he was linked with a move to Barcelona throughout the last season of 2022-2023. An exceptional carrier of the ball he always can take players on himself to free up more offensive players like Haaland and Foden which he did again for them to score which they did yet again.

Dominik Szobozlai - Liverpool

Midfielder

Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez score yet again and both the goals were set up by Dominik Szobozlai with a third goal he was involved in the build-up. The Hungarian has been a much-transformed figure in the heart of midfield when compared to his time at RB Leipzig. In a much more central role instead of his preferred advanced one, he has been seen covering more ground and working much defensively as well but also ticking the offensive checkboxes with his assists.

Callum Wilson - Newcastle

striker

The striker has performed whenever given a chance during his non-injury time. Again when Alexander Isak was asked to be subbed off due to injury he came on to score a brace which takes his tally to 7 goals in just 4 games. With this record, he is averaging a goal every 60 minutes which is an exceptional record for a striker of his stature. Newcastle will be worried about the Swede's fitness but if Wilson keeps on scoring they might land a good place in the Premier League table.

Erling Haaland - Manchester City

Striker

Well, it’s not right when Haaland says he is still finding his form in the Premier League campaign despite being the leading goal scorer in the campaign already. The Norwegian is again on a mission to defend his golden shoe title with him scoring a brace against fierce rivals Manchester United. Also, he contributed by providing an assist to Phil Foden with Manchester United not playing the best of their games compared to the reputation they have.

Eddie Nketiah with the match ball (DailyCannon)

Eddie Nketiah - Arsenal

Striker

For the first time in his Premier League career, the striker was able to get the match ball to his name with a hattrick to his name against Sheffield United. The Arsenal team was driven by his hattrick when Fabio Viera came on as a substitute to score a penalty and Takehiro Tomiyasu scored his first goal for the Gunners in his 50th appearance for them. A delightful evening for the team who closed in on Tottenham Hotspur to take the first spot in the Premier League.
