The weekly Premier League round-up: Matchday 19

We are done with the first half of the Premier League Matchday 19 as Nottingham Crush Newcastle with Manchester United showing what they are capable of in what was an exciting first phase of the week with the second phase still to come.


Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest

Match facts: Mew Zealander Chris Wood was back again to haunt his Employers Newcastle United as he scored a winning hat trick to round the match. Winger Anthony Elanga was on song again as he provided two assists while Newcastle have been falling apart with underwhelming performances as they slip down even more while giving  

Bournemouth vs Fulham  

Final score line: 3-0

Match facts: Nobody can stop Bournemouth as the team has finally started to show chemistry after a bad start to the season. Dominic Solanke is the catalyst while the rest of the team members are the add-ons in what they have turned out into a complete meal. Fulham on the other hand will be looking to change as soon as possible with their form not at all equal to the start of the season.

Sheffield United vs Luton Town

Match facts: Luton Town have started to show they are capable of playing at the highest level as they see off competition from fellow promotion holders Sheffield United. It was surprising to see two own goals from the Sheffield side as the Blades took the lead after being under a deficit. Luton was good at their comeback with them now out of the relegation zone.

Burnley vs Liverpool

Final score line: 0-2

Match facts: Liverpool needed a win desperately to move ahead of Arsenal above the points table for some days as the Gunners will play their opponents West Ham two days later. Diego Jota was a surprise inclusion in the squad who even scored the winning goal while Darwin Nunez opened up the scoring early in the game. Burnley after a good win again came on the losing end while their manager Vincent Kompany in a press conference suggested finding the final touch which may give his team a turnaround.  


Manchester United vs Aston Villa  

Final score line: 3-2

Match facts: Manchester United showed what mentality exactly they need to become what they are known for in the Premier League. The Red Devils were 2-0 down in the first half itself with Aston Villa Captain John McGinn scoring from a direct free kick long way out with Leandro Dendoncker adding the second one. A sublime comeback from Manchester United was started by Alejandro Garnacho who would have scored a hattrick if only his disallowed goal was not counted off because of offside, never the less a brace was enough to draw level with Rasmus Hojlund scoring his first-ever Premier League goal to round up the match in favor of their goods.
