4. Ricky Ponting – 30

Ricky Ponting had an illustrious ODI career, playing in 375 matches and securing an impressive 30 centuries. Over the course of his career, he accumulated 13,704 runs, with his highest individual score standing at 164 runs.

3. Rohit Sharma – 32

Rohit Sharma has currently played in 270 ODIs, highlighting an outstanding record of 32 centuries. Throughout his remarkable ODI career, he has accumulated more than 11,000 runs, with his highest individual score of 264 runs.

2. Sachin Tendulkar – 49

Sachin Tendulkar, the cricket legend, boasts an impressive 49 centuries in his illustrious ODI career.  He played in 463 ODI matches, amassing an extraordinary 18,426 runs, with his highest individual score being an unbeaten 200*. Tendulkar maintained the record for the most ODI centuries from 2012 until 2023, when it was surpassed by Virat Kohli.

As of now, Virat Kohli has played in 299 ODI matches, demonstrating an impressive record of 51 centuries. He has accumulated more than 14,000 runs, with a personal best of 183 runs throughout his distinguished ODI career. He surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries during the semi-final match against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 held in Mumbai.
