Initially, he was recognized as a bowling all-rounder; however, over time, he evolved into a batting all-rounder. He has played in 78 test matches for India to date. In his bowling career, he has taken more than 300 wickets, and with the bat, he has accumulated over 3000 runs, including 69 sixes.
4. Sachin Tendulkar – 69
During his illustrious 24-year cricket career, Sachin Tendulkar played 200 Test matches and hit a total of 69 sixes in those matches. Sachin has been one of the most disciplined batters for India in international cricket. He holds the record as the leading run-scorer in the longest format of the game, amassing a total of 15,921 runs.
3. MS Dhoni – 78
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is third highest six-hitter for India in Test cricket. Dhoni started his career with a bang and displayed an aggressive batting style; however, he soon embraced a more mature approach as he took on the responsibilities of captaincy. The former Indian wicketkeeper-batter concluded his illustrious Test career, spanning 90 matches, with a total of 78 sixes. He accumulated 4,876 runs, achieving an impressive batting average of 38.09, while batting mostly at number 7.

Current Indian captain is also in the tally with 88 sixes in the longest format of the game. Rohit Sharma has been on a remarkable streak of hitting sixes in international cricket over the past few years.
