Stefanos Tsitsipas vs David Goffin - Ultimate Tennis Showdown Preview and Prediction

It is a cracker of a contest as two top 10 players, Stefanos Tsitsipas and David Goffin face off in the second semifinal of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown tonight.

The Greek has been in fantastic form throughout the tournament. Sitting on top of the charts, Tsitsipas has just lost one match in the campaign, to Dominic Thiem so far.

The youngster's all-round game has reaped him rich dividends. In his previous match, he showed no mercy whitewashing Goffin in four quarters. Despite a couple of double faults strewn in, Tsitsipas has managed it through sharp serving and consistently grabbing points through winners.

On the other hand, Goffin has had a topsy-turvy campaign. With five wins and four losses in the tournament, he needs to bring his A-game against high-quality opponents. The Belgian has delivered great performances with his offensive baseline game and fast movement. He, however, needs to bring all his weapons together if he wants to win this match.

In his previous encounter against Tsitsipas, he cut a sorry figure committing a staggering 25 unforced errors and had a poor first-serve percentage of 61.

Strengths of Tsitsipas

Mental strength, great variety in stroke-making, and a powerful one-hand backhand are the biggest positive points for Tsitsipas. But, the Greek must try to reduce his count of unforced errors.

Strengths of Goffin

Ability to win long rallies, effective counter-attacking, and smart net play are his plus points. Goffin can be unstoppable if he maintains a high first-serve percentage.

While Tsitsipas hold the aces ahead of this encounter owing to his rich vein of form and familiarity with the conditions, Goffin will look to gain revenge for his earlier loss by giving a good fight.

The player who wins the first quarter can gain a massive edge in this high voltage clash.

Prediction - Stefanos Tsitsipas to win in four quarters
