FC Porto vs Arsenal

Mikel Arteta is the first name that comes to mind when thinking about the success of the Gunners in the past two seasons. They have started the campaign well with them being on top of the table constantly. A return to the Champions League has been successful as of now with them coming onto the knockout stages with a top group finish. FC Porto is a tricky contest they’ll be up against as their record against Portuguese outfits hasn’t been amazing they crashed out of Europe last season against Sporting Lisbon, again a Portuguese powerhouse.

Napoli vs Barcelona

Victor Osimhen, Khvicha vs Pedri, Robert Lewandowski. It’ll be a mouth-watering encounter to witness in the Champions League round of 16 knockout stages. Both the teams are playing well in their respective leagues with fact that both of them won it in their previous seasons with both struggling to show the same form they showed before. Losses to each of them in terms of players leaving and being injured during important times. Both the teams will be hoping to put the league title behind them if they can win the Champions League.

PSG vs Real Sociedad

PSG had a major squad overhaul, and by major we mean the GOAT Lionel Messi and Brazilian show-stopper Neymar leaving the capital city. With the wage budget balancing quite much they bought a chunk of talents that have shown good character but we’re almost close to knocking out of the group stage. A final group game and a good performance landed them in the knockout with Classy Real Sociedad waiting for them with a homegrown team who have been in great form in both the Champions League and Laliga as well.

Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid

Diego Simeone will revisit his former club in the round of 16 where he spent quite a good time during his professional playing days. Atletico has not been the same kind of team since the arrival of Griezmann on his second stint with the club which gave him his reputation. The forward along with Alvaro Morata has been influential in the Spanish giant's good run while Last season's runners Inter Milan haven’t felt the loss of Romelu Lukaku at all as Lautaro Martinez has been dangerous in front of goal this season he has also been given the armband to lead the club as well.

PSV vs Borussia Dortmund

Both the clubs are renowned for the talents they produce and the chance they give to youngsters which helps them grow. The talent factories will be up against each other in the knockout rounds of the Champions League with a bid to move ahead by winning against each other. Borussia Dortmund have coped pretty well with the loss of Jude Bellingham with many other players stepping up their game to make the club reach their level again.

Lazio vs Bayern

German Champions will play two games to win and qualify for the round of 16 in the Champions League. They have been in good form but a sudden rise of Xavi Alonso’s Bayern Leverkusen has stopped them from topping the table this time out. Lazio on the other hand has been dealing with the loss of their star midfielder Milinkovic Savicn with Daichi Kamada being his replacement and not fulfilling what the Serbian was capable of. Ciro Immobile has also not shown his deadly side in front of the goal with his side hoping his form comes back to proceed in the tournament even more.

Copenhagen vs Manchester City

Manchester City would not have hoped for a lighter opponent for themselves with the current Champions League defending champions drawing with the Danish Champions in the Knock out round of 16 stage. Manchester City will put all of their Physios to work to make sure the return of Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland is possible before this fixture with any more of their top eleven not getting injured meanwhile København will hope to add some firepower during the Winter transfer window.

RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham is a name so common now in such a small amount of time as he keeps shining for the Los Blancos. The midfielder-turned-attacking midfielder has been a revelation signing of the season Real Madrid spent more than 100 million on his signature. Although he has been struggling with a shoulder issue, he is still unsure about what will be the next step in his shoulder recovery. RB Leipzig has also been instrumental in bringing top talents this season with Lois Openda and Xavi Simons combining in the best way possible for the Redbull-owned outfit.
