The Premier League round up: Match day 15

We are done with the Premier League match day 15 and what a night it had been as we saw movements in the standings of the team with a new leader on top becoming the fourth team to top the table till now. We are heading closer to the winter transfer window pretty much soon as only a few matches are left to be played before we see the players switching alliances.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool  

Final score line: 1-2

               Harvey Elliot (90+1) assisted by Mohammed Salah  

Match facts: Crystal Palace would have caused a great upset today as they lead Liverpool after Jean Phillip Mateta scored a penalty to give the Eagles the lead. A red card was all the Anfield giants needed as the Premier League Matchday 15 went in their favor with Mohammed Salah scoring one and assisting the other one to super sub-Harvey Elliot to win the match and guide his team to the top-placed finish in the Premier League table for the first team this season.

Brighton vs Burnley

Match facts: Vincent Kompany’s Burnley secured a vital draw against a strong top-half-place Brighton and Hove Albion side who looked to have entered the game with an optimism of winning the game surely. It was moreover a loss in itself for Brighton who started to catch up form after having a win-drought patch of matches that went by. Burnley although is now even more on a suffering journey after losing their winger Kaleosho to a long-term injury and a replacement should surely be on the cards during the winter transfer window.

Sheffield United vs Brentford

Match facts: Sheffield United have started to show signs that they are capable of playing ferocious football as they finally won after a long time with Brentford on the losing end. It’s finally that time when Brentford have started to miss Ivan Toney more than ever as goals have been coming in surplus for Thomas Franks's side as they are in the bottom half of the table, while on the other end, Sheffield United are someone who’ll look for their key players to return to fight back off the relegation environment.  

Wolves vs Nottingham Forest

Match facts: A stalemate is what the supporters had not wanted witnessed as Harry Toffolo and Matheus Cunha were on either side of their opposition to score for their respective sides to secure a point each. Wolves had a better game amazing the two but were stopped by a splendid performance from USA international Matt Turner for his side Nottingham Forest.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal  

Final score line: 1-0

Scorers: John McGinn (7’) assisted by Leon Bailey

Match facts: A second loss for now second Arsenal as they fall below Liverpool to just 1 point in the Premier League table. Aston Villa haven’t lost a single game this season at home and they continue their winning big streak as captain John Mcginn was the only player among all who was found the back of the net. Manager Mikel Arteta watched from the stands as his team performed pretty well in an attacking manner but couldn’t capitalize on the chances they received.
