The number 1 Pound-for-pound boxer in the world, Canelo Alvarez, returns this weekend against the IBF World Champion Caleb Plant. One of the biggest super-middleweight bouts of the year is here, Canelo looking for another World Title to his name by defeating Caleb Plant. 

Canelo is yet to lose a fight ever since he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. On the other hand, Caleb Plant is yet to be defeated in his professional boxing career but he’s never faced any fighter on the level of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. 

The last time anyone caused trouble for Canelo inside the ring was Gennady Golovkin, with a controversial draw in their first bout. Caleb Plant has looked extremely impressive but he’s not known for his knockout power with only 12 knockouts in 21 bouts. 

Caleb Plant is coming off a win against Caleb Traux in his last fight, where he defended his belt against the vet. 

Canelo fought Billy Joe Saunders, who was undefeated until he faced Canelo. Saunders started off well against Canelo but once the Mexican started landing shots, it was over for the Englishman.
