Internazionale close in on loan deal for this Chelsea winger

Victor Moses is likely to make his way from Turkey to Italy for the remaining part of the ongoing season as his former boss Antonio Conte wants him at Internazionale.

Moses has worked under Conte before and the Internazionale boss reckons the 29-year old can add a lot of value to his squad.

Chelsea had loaned out Moses to Turkey last winter to play for Fenerbahce. It’s an 18-month loan deal which is only going to expire at the end of the ongoing season.

However, the reports suggest that the Fenerbahce hierarchy isn’t too stubborn about keeping Moses at the club if he expresses desire to leave.

It is understood that Inter and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the loan deal and the Italian giants will announce the arrival of the player soon.

If Moses lives up to the expectations at San Siro, he is likely to be signed on a permanent basis in the upcoming summer with the transfer fee in the range of 10 million Euros.

The reason why Inter has not gone for a permanent deal straightaway is because they are not sure if Moses will be able to adapt to the system that Conte is using at the club at the moment.

Conte used the 4-3-3 system at Chelsea which is different from the 3-5-2 system he is using at Inter.

While the 3-5-2 system is proving to be immensely fruitful for Inter, it’s not the easiest system to adapt to, from a winger’s point of view.

Moses has been regularly loaned out by Chelsea in the last six years. He played for Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United in the Premier League before moving to Fenerbahce in January 2019.

The Nigeria international has found the back of the net 5 times in 20 games that he has played in the Turkish top flight so far.
