Veteran Chelsea duo in talks with the club regarding their future

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has admitted that Chelsea duo Willian and Pedro are in talks over their future at Stamford Bridge following the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax.

It is reported that both veteran wingers could be offloaded in the summer as a part of Lampard's squad overhaul in the summer.

The West London club have already landed the star attacking midfielder Ziyech in a £36.7million move from Ajax.

They also have their eyes on a number of star players across the continent including coveted Borussia Dormund winger Jadon Sancho.

If the Blues manage to land Sancho as well, they will have a lot of options on the flank with Christian Pulisic and another youngster Callum-Hudson Odoi.

It could mean the end of both Willian and Pedro at Stamford Bridge as the club prepares itself for long-term success.

Both the wingers are on £100k-plus-a-week deals with the Blues. The club could use that in other areas of the pitch where they need reinforcements.

Lampard said at his press conference: “Conversations are ongoing with those players. They have both been successful players with the club.

"Both I found to be very professional and willing and wanting to work this year and help the younger players.

"And obviously get results which is the main thing. So regardless [of whether they stay], what they’ve done at the club is very well received from our end."

However, there are slight chances that Willian could stay at the club as Chelsea are prepared to offer him a one year deal though the player is seeking a two-year deal and an increment on his £110,000-a-week wages.

Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan have all shown interest in the flamboyant Brazilian who has been impressive for Lampard's side this campaign.

Meanwhile, Pedro has only managed to get only five league outings so far this campaign and has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Barcelona.
