Fantasy Premier League Tips: Gameweek 8

The Premier League enters gameweek 8 and we have some massive games in store for the weekend. Sportco shares few tips and suggestions on players who can be your in your squad for the Gameweek 8 in the Fantasy Premier League.

The Premier League will be in its 8th gameweek and every team would want to enter the international break on a high note. An amazing week of fixtures will bring an even more intense battle in the Fantasy Premier League as millions of managers would use their mind to get the maximum points.

The fixtures are intriguing as this week will have some of the top teams facing each other. Liverpool will be playing the Cityzens while Manchester United will play the reformed Everton at Goodison Park.

Leicester City will lock horns with Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves at the King Power Stadium while Chelsea plays the Blades, Sheffield United who is currently struggling in the bottom three.

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur will travel to play the newly promoted West Brom. Let's see who are the players to look for in this gameweek in the Fantasy League.

Players to Look For:

1. Callum Wilson

The Magpies may not be doing the best in the league at the moment but one thing is sure that their latest signing from AFC Bournemouth is up for something.

Newcastle play an injury affected Southampton and £6.5m worth Wilson will definitely be one of the players to look for this weekend.

2. Mason Mount

The Blues midfielder is Frank Lampard's favorite and with Kai Havertz's absentee due to COVID-19. He's good with the ball and his value makes him one of the best possible players in the midfield.

His value is £6.8m in the Fantasy Premier League and because Chelsea faces Sheffield United who still haven't shown any glimpses of last season, Mount may come out on top.

3. Jarod Bowen

The £6.3m midfielder will be playing against a struggling Fulham backline. The Hammers did well against Liverpool but succumbed to Diogo Jota's exquisite on and off the ball movements.

Captain Picks

The best captain picks for this week would be

  1. Harry Kane (£11.0m),
  2. Timo Werner (£9.3m),
  3.  Heung-Min Son (£9.6m),
  4.  Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.7m).

These are the fantasy picks considering that Spurs face West Brom, Chelsea play Sheffield and Arsenal play Aston Villa who has been phenomenal but struggled defensively in their last game.
