Kante all set to leave Chelsea while Zaha happy at Crystal Palace

N’Golo Kante has reportedly informed Chelsea board about his desire of leaving the club this winter, but there are still question marks over his future destination.

The reports in the Spanish media suggests that Kante is interested in Real Madrid as his countryman Zinedine Zidane is in charge there whom he enjoys a great relationship with.

Real Madrid, however, already have a world class holding midfielder in Casemiro and the club president Florentino Perez is not entirely sure that the club requires another holding midfielder at the moment.

If Zidane and Perez are not on the same page regarding Kante, it’s possible that Barcelona might pounce on the opportunity as they are certainly in need of a player of Kante’s profile.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, who had asked the club in summer that he wanted to move on has changed his mind and he is now looking forward to extending his association with the club.

Being aware of Zaha’s desire to move away, Arsenal and Everton were planning to approach Palace with a transfer proposal, but with the winger coming out and making it clear that he is happy at the club, the transfer talks have gone out of the window now.

“I’m back to enjoying my football again. What happened in the summer did affect me. When the season started it was still in my head. But after a while I told myself that I have got to get over it. Going around sulking is not going to help. I told myself I can’t be like that.” Zaha was quoted saying by the Express.

It's been a decent season for Zaha at Crystal Palace so far as they are in top 10 of the Premier League standings currently. Zaha’s personal form has been up to the scratch as well, as he has found the back of the net twice in the last four games.
