PSG run rampant as Kylian Mbappe breaks Lionel Messi's UCL record

The Young Frenchman came off the bench in the second half and produced a sublime performance which resulted in a thumping win for Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG were just 1-0 up until Mbappe arrived. The World cup winner wiped out the opposition defenders with his tremendous attacking prowess. After suffering minor injury setbacks often this season, the starlet made his return count.

Within nine minutes into his introduction, Mbappe scored a goal and also assisted his teammate Mauro Icardi for another goal to make it 3-0.

There was no stopping the star as he added two more goals to his tally as his team were 5-0. Despite having a very tough game in the first half, the Parisians found themselves in the stronghold after Mbappe's moment of magic.

Captain Thiago Silva took a moment to heap praise on his teammate for the prolific display he had shown on-field. Speaking in the post-match interview, he told the reporters :

"He is well present, he is ready, he has gifts, I can't tell you more because he is an incredible player. 
"I'm very happy for him, for the team, for the way we played today. In the first half it was very difficult, we knew it, but in the second half we were much more effective. 
"We had chances, we scored. Especially Kylian this player is magnificent".

The Paris Saint-Germain number 7 is just 20 years and 306 days old and has now broken the record of Barcelona star Lionel Messi who was aged 21 years and 288 days old at the time when he scored 15 UEFA Champions League goals for the Blaugranas.
