Another Sporting CP player on his way to join the Red Devils?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Manchester United are “working really well” as they look to strengthen this month.

He further said that Manchester United will “pounce” in the transfer market if there are the right players available in the market. Players, which are best suited for the club following reports of advanced discussions with Sporting CP for Bruno Fernandes.

Paul Pogba and Scott Mctominay are facing prolonged periods of absence. Manchester United are currently in desperate need of a creative midfielder and have been heavily linked with a move for Portugal international midfielder Bruno Fernandes and officials from the two clubs are said to have been in talks on Friday.

Ole told Sky Sports that he has got the backing from the owners and Ed Woodward.

Sporting CP head coach Silas was asked about Bruno Fernandes’ future following his team’s 3-1 win over Vitoria Setubal on Saturday. Silas refused to deny whether an agreement is in place for Bruno to leave the Portuguese club amid links to the struggling Red Devils.

Fernandes was linked to United rival Spurs and also to Real Madrid at the start of the season but a transfer did not materialize as the Portugal star signed a new contract in November.

After scoring twice in their recent win, Silas was asked if the Sporting captain will feature in the derby against Benfica to which Silas responded by saying,” I can’t guarantee any of these things because I don’t know.”

“I’m already thinking about the derby game and I’m thinking about using Fernandes, " he further remarked.

Fernandes has scored eight goals and supplied seven assists in the league this season, while netting 15 across all competitions.

Manchester fans are more confident and eager at the same time and believe that the transfer is actually happening when the Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand tweeted,” BRUNOOOOO.”

The internet has been on fire since then and Manchester fan pages are doing everything to dig out what is actually happening at the Club.
