Top 10 all time top-scorers in Inter Miami history

The vision of David Beckham that took birth about a couple of decades ago is finally starting to bear fruit. As a result Inter Miami are one of the most high profile and well recognized soccer institutions in the world outside Europe at the moment. They had several high profile players and coaches within it's ranks ranging from treble winners to world cup winners all the while competing for the highest honors and putting USA on a global landscape. 

Though initially, Skeptics dismissed the Miami project as nothing more than a flash in the pan. In hindsight we can safely conclude that the men in pink are here to stay. To have three European Legends actively playing on your roster week in week out surely is one way to send out a message to the global fraternity.

10. Robbie Robinson: 6 Goals

This 24-year-old American, recipient of the prestigious Hermann Trophy in 2019, got his big break at Miami in 2020. Though not a regular feature, Robinson has shown flashes of brilliance off the bench. In 52 appearances, he netted six and assisted twice.

Former US International and Utility wide man Brek Shea joined Miami in June 2020, Shea, primarily a left-winger, turned out for Miami in 47 matches, scoring six goals. All his goals were scored in the MLS. By January 2023, Shea decided to hang up his boots and bid farewell to his professional soccer journey.

December 2021 saw Lassiter make the switch from the Houston Dynamo to Miami. This versatile winger played 41 times for Miami, accruing six goals in the process. After being deemed surplus to requirements by early 2023, he was transferred to Montreal.

7. Rodolfo Pizarro: 7 Goals

Pizarro’s arrival in 2020 was marked by a hefty transfer sum of $11.98 million price tag  , which is a lot for a MLS Transfer. Over two seasons, he played 62 matches, scoring seven times. After a brief loan spell away from Miami with Monterrey, he moved back to Europe to AEK Athens by mid-2022.

Bought from Celtic in 2020, Morgan’s Miami tenure lasted until late 2021. Throughout, he recorded seven goals and seven assists in 58 matches. A $1.2 million deal to fellow MLS Club , New York Red Bulls. proved to be the right move for him as he ended up finding his mojo  and has been doing great with the New York based side ever since .

Martinez, Lionel Messi’s striking partner since 2023, has been a more than able supporting act many a times even holding his own. In 28 fixtures, he’s notched up seven goals. With a history of being a MLS Goal Machine at Atlanta United since 2017, Martinez boasts 104 goals in 154 MLS matches. Josef Martínez had also turned out for Torino in the Italian Serie A of Europe.

Taylor made the move from Scandinavia to The States  after being acquired from SK Brann in 2022, and he has quickly become a regular fixture in Miami’s attack. In 64 games, he’s scored eight goals, showcasing impressive link up play with Messi. His contract runs out in late 2024.

A name which is easily recognized even by those who don't even watch footballi, Lionel Messi’s name resonates with everyone who has ever known the beautiful game. Scoring nine times, he’s already a club legend. This Ballon d’Or winner’s journey began with a free-kick stunner against Cruz Azul. Given Messi’s form, his rise in Miami seems unstoppable. Messi is closing on the top two scorers, including his former Argentine teammate  and will no doubt  be looking forward to add a lot more to his tally .

Since arriving from Wolverhampton in 2022 after not being given a look in at the Premier League outfit, Campana has been a star. With 25 goals in 74 games, his move from loanee to permanent player at just over $2.5 million has proved worth every penny and one of the more shrewd under the radar moves  from the Beckham owned side.

Without a doubt, the top scorer in Miami’s history is Higuain. In over 70 matches, this former Real Madrid and Juventus front man  has amassed 29 goals. After an illustrious career, he decided to ride off into the sunset at the famous beaches in Florida after drawing  his Miami chapter to a close.
