Top four Indian cricketers with most ICC titles in senior men's cricket

The Indian Cricket Team have won second-most ICC titles in senior men’s cricket. Their achievements include three ICC Champions Trophy titles, two ICC Cricket World Cups, and two ICC T20 World Cups, making it a total of seven ICC titles.

Several Indian players have been instrumental in the success of these title-winning campaigns. There are also a number of Indian players who have won multiple ICC titles. Some of them even have had the chance to win ICC titles more than twice. 

In this article, let’s talk about the top four Indian cricketers with most ICC titles in senior men’s cricket.

4. Ravindra Jadeja – 3

Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been a part of the Indian cricket team for over ten years. He has consistently been a preferred player across all three formats, and his impressive records reflect a lot about  his contributions to the sport.

Jadeja has played in six ICC finals and has won three of them. He won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 and 2025 and the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024. He even hit the winning runs for India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final.

3. MS Dhoni – 3

In the history of senior men's cricket, only one captain has won all three ICC white-ball titles: MS Dhoni. He led India to victory in an ICC tournament during his first event as captain.

He is probably the best Indian captain ever when it comes to tactics and winning crunch moments. He was part of five ICC finals, and won three of them. His triumphs include the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

2. Virat Kohli – 4

Virat Kohli has been a run-machine for India in all formats of the game. His numbers in ICC tournaments are unparalleled, and he has consistently excelled in high-pressure situations. In the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 against South Africa, his innings of 76 runs played a crucial role in leading India to victory, thereby ending a decade-long wait for an ICC title in 2024.

Virat has now won four ICC titles in senior men’s cricket. He has been part of victorious teams in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, ICC Champions Trophy 2013, ICC T20 World Cup 2024, and ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Rohit Sharma has been part of four ICC title wins in senior men’s cricket. He is regarded as one of India's two contemporary legends and has played a pivotal role in crucial matches. As a player under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, he won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007 and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

Then, he led the team to victory in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as captain, thereby establishing himself as one of the most successful Indian players in senior men’s cricket at ICC tournaments.

Rohit has yet to secure the ODI World Cup, which remains the sole ICC title missing from his collection. He narrowly missed the opportunity to claim it in 2023 when his team was defeated by Australia in the final. Rohit aspires to conclude his international cricket career by lifting the trophy in 2027.
