Juventus Ready To Let This Star Leave To Bring In Italian Sensation From Roma

Federico Bernardeschi was regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Serie A when Juventus paid 40 million Euros for his services. The Italian winger had done brilliantly at Florentina, so there were lots of expectations from him. However, the 25-year-old has struggled for game time this season, which has affected his form.

The talented winger has scored just one goal and failed to provide any assists for Juventus in the ongoing season. Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri recently has played Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala, and Gonzalo Higuain together, leaving Bernardeschi on the bench.

According to Calciomercato, Bernardeschi is dispensable, and the Turin based outfit is looking to use him as a part of a deal for Lorenzo Pellegrini or Nicolo Zaniolo next summer.

Reportedly, Lorenzo Pellegrini has a release clause of just 30 million euros, but Roma is set to offer him another contract. On the other hand, Zaniolo has just signed a new deal which will keep him at Rome until 2024.

While Roma would like to keep hold of their two prized assets, they need to raise some money due to their financial constraints. Cashing in on other youngsters can relieve them off some financial pressure. The deal can be a win-win situation for all the parties as it allows Juventus to upgrade their team as well. It will also be a good opportunity for Bernardeschi to bring his career back on track in Rome.

Any swap deal won't take place before summer, and a lot of things can change in that time. If Roma manages to qualify for the Champions League, they will be in a better position financially. It will mean that they can afford to keep hold of their prized players and Juventus would have to work harder to get the deal done.

It is a tricky situation for the Italian winger, who knows that Juventus is willing to sacrifice him. However, he still has some time to prove himself and forge a future with the reigning Serie A champions in Turin. Now it is to be seen whether he is ready to take up the challenge to revive his career with Juventus or not in the near future.
