10. Bernardo Silva (2017 - Current)

We start our list of the best Man City players of the last 10 years with Bernardo Silva.

Portuguese star Bernardo Silva arrived from AS Monaco's Ligue 1 title-winning campaign in 2017. The versatile playmaker has had an outstanding playmaking season since he arrived at the club. 

Bernardo Silva is one tireless player at the club who manages to play 40+ games per season and is even a goal scorer and not only a provider for the squad. Most of the pundits call him underrated due to his calm and composed nature on the field, but is as effective as any other world-class midfielder 

9. Carlos Tevez (2009-2013)

There is a saying, You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. This is what perfectly fits in for Carlos Tevez. 

One of Manchester United's excellent strikers who had a fall of with Sir Alex Ferguson in the dying stages of his United spell made a switch to the rivals, Manchester City.

8. Ederson Moraes (2017 - Current)

Ederson arrived at Manchester City with a reputation of being one of the bright youngest prospects in the world. 

The Brazilian signed with Manchester City in 2007 to replace the aging Claudio Bravo who was not as effective between the poles as once he was. 

The transfer at that time made him the 2nd most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the game and currently the 4th highest. In 2018 he became the 1st Manchester City Goalkeeper to provide an assist. 

Ederson's fantastic footwork including the sheer distance of some kicks wherein in 2018 he broke the Guinness World Record for longest Drop Kick at 75.35 meters. Ederson has currently played 191 matches for City and still, he is contracted till 2025 with the Citizens.

7. Fernandinho (2013 - Current)

The Brazilian Defensive Midfielder arrived at Manchester City after setting a reputation in the Russian League in 2013. 

Fernandinho is well known in the Premier League for his defensive ability and reading of the game. He has been a vital piece for Man City midfield over the years and replacing him would be a challenge for Pep Guardiola.

6. Joe Hart (2006-2018)

The City Native, Joe Hart was associated with Manchester City for almost 12 years. He initially did not get much playing time since his arrival but had numerous loan spells with teams in the Championship and Premier League during his tenure with the team. 

Joe Hart's performances with City earned him a callup for the England Squad and since then had been a regular 1st choice keeper for the National Squad. He made a total of 266 appearances for the City in the Premier League.

5. Yaya Toure (2010 - 2018)

Probably one of the best African Midfielders to play in the English Premier League. Yaya Toure had established himself as a dependant player during his stint with FC Barcelona and signed with Citizens in 2010 and stayed with the club until 2018. 

Yaya Toure was the ideal box-to-box midfielder for City who had everything that you would dream of from a perfect midfielder, goals, long-range shots, passing ability, defensive colossus, physicality, danger from set-pieces.

4. Kevin De Bruyne (2015 - Current)

The list for the best Man city players of the last 10 years couldn't get more absorbing as next up is the Belgian wizard, Kevin De Bruyne. 

The Chelsea outcast, who had loan spells with Genk and Werder Bremen, was touted to be another loanee player for Chelsea FC. However, he went on to sign with Wolfsberg in the German Bundesliga and then in the Year 2014-15 won the Bundesliga Player of the year award. 

Looking at his performances in Germany, Manchester City Splurged a club record of €55 million Euros for his services, since then he has been the best player on the pitch.

3. Vincent Kompany (2008 - 2019)

A Blue wall, Captain, Leader of the Manchester City clan was Vincent Kompany. The Belgian joined Manchester City in 2008, where City was a mid-table team and can be considered to be the 1st player to join the City rebuild. 

He is considered to be one of the bargains buys in the City Era. He was listed 23rd in the 100 best footballers in the world by The Guardian in 2012. Kompany's leadership at the back was vital for Man City's success in the League. He spent 11 seasons with the club before leaving in 2019.

2. David Silva (2010-2020)

David Silva arrived at Manchester City in the 2010-11 season from La Liga club, Valencia.
