Chelsea is set to host Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in the battle for the apex of the Premier League. The game will be played on November 29 and the only unfortunate part of the fixture is that if it was scheduled a week after, limited fans would've been present to support the London clubs.

Both the teams enter into the game with a brilliant run in the past and Spurs' trip to Stamford could spoil the party for either of them or both.

The 'Master vs Apprentice' meeting in a London Derby is anticipated to be one of the best games of this season, considering the course of both the team's run of games until now.

Since Roman Abramovich has taken over the Blues, no other Premier League team has been more successful than Chelsea in terms of major honors. Abramovich, Mourinho, and Lampard are three men who have played an instrumental role in Chelsea's glory in the recent past.

Tottenham was successful in making a statement at the weekend last week when they beat Manchester City both, physically and tactically. 

Coincidently, Chelsea is unbeaten since their defeat to Tottenham in the EFL Cup clash, losing on penalties.

Frank Lampard has confirmed that 'Captain Pulisic' is now back in the squad and will be in contention to start the game after a hamstring injury. The Chelsea boss also has Kai Havertz available who was sidelined in the recent games due to contracting COVID-19.

The attacking positions at Chelsea have enormous competition as Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Olivier Giroud are all available and Lampard has all options wide open.

For Spurs, Kane has averaged a goal or an assist every 50 minutes and that means he'll be a constant threat for the Chelsea backline.

Heung-Min Son has been on a roll too with firing nine goals this term, and a tenth at Stamford would help him become the first Lilywhite since Gary Lineker in 1991-92 to have reached double figures in the first ten games of the Premier League season.

Jose will have to make alterations at the back with Toby Alderweireld out due to a groin injury. Joe Rodon may be handed his Premier League debut too. Spurs will be without the services of Erik Lamela too.

Tottenham's only COVID-19 victim and ex-Wolves defender Matt Doherty is also fit for a place in the XI.

Zouma will have a huge task in hand with the English skipper being in exquisite form. Every time Kane has the ball, something is around the corner for Spurs and the Chelsea backline especially Zouma will have to take care of the Spurs number 10.
