Liverpool vs Everton

Match Facts: The First match of the Premier League Gameday 9 was the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton. The game ended 2-0 in favor of the Reds with star Mohamed Salah scoring a brace. A 37-minute red card for Ashley Young brought the blues down to 10 men. Liverpool was quick to pounce on the situation when Salah converted from the spot and Darwin Nunez launched his second assist of the season to set up the Egyptian again.

Brentford vs Burnley

Match Facts: Burnley was again lackluster as they suffered their seventh loss of the season under coach Vincent Kompany. Connor Roberts was shown a second yellow in the 78’ minute when Burnley was already down with 2 goals and conceded another when Sam Ghoddos scored in the 87’ minute to round the game off.

Bournemouth vs Wolves

Final Score line: 2-1

Match Facts: Wolves didn’t start the game well as Dominic Solanke scored in the 17’ minute when he was set up by Danish midfielder Philip Billings. They equalised vie Matheus Cunha and were given a boost when Lewis Cook was sent off in the 54’ minute. Bournemouth dug deep to fight for a draw but substitute Sasa Kalajdzic scored in the 88’ minute to make sure 3 points were earned well.

Nottingham Forest vs Lutton Town

Final Score line: 2-2

Match Facts: Nottingham Forest started the premier league match day 9 pretty well as they took the lead with two goals from Christopher Wood both assisted by former Manchester United player Anthony Elanga. Both the goals weren’t enough as Luton Town showed tremendous mentality as they came from behind to earn a draw which kept them above the drop zone.

Manchester City vs Brighton

Match Facts: Manchester City were on a losing run for the past two games and had to turn their fortunes around against a well-performing Brighton side. They took the lead in the 7’ minute vie Julian Alvarez and made it two with Erling Haaland. Brighton made it 2-1 with Ansu Fati to keep a comeback hope alive but couldn’t even after City went 10 men when Manuel Akanji was given a second yellow in the 95’ minute.

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace

Final Score line: 4-0

Match Facts: Sent James Park was the happiest place on Premier League Matchday 9 with their team winning 4-0 against a not-so-exceptional Crystal Palace side. Four different scorers on the score sheet mean the team is in some good form and will be a tough opponent to play against. Newcastle currently sits at 6th on the points table while Crystal Palace on 11th.

Match Facts: The Premier League Matchday 9 on Saturday was rounded off with possibly the best clash on the menu. Chelsea were on a good run of two games and showed that by taking the lead as Cole Palmer converted a Penalty with Mudryk’s cross going into the goal. Arsenal saved their best for the last as Declan Rice scored after a miss placed pass from Robert Sanchez and super-sub Leonardo Trossard equalized on a Bukayo Saka’s cross in the 84’ 84-minute


Sheffield United vs Manchester United

Final Score line: 2-1

               Diego Dalot (74’) assisted by Victor Lindelof

Match Facts: Premier League Matchday 9 on Sunday started at the Old Trafford where the in-form Scott McTominay gave the Red Devils a comfortable lead. Sheffield drew 1-1 with a penalty converted by Oliver McBurnie. Right back Diego Dalot made sure to take away a win at home converting the pass from Victor Lindelof.

Aston Villa vs West Ham

Final Score line: 4-1

Match Facts: Aston Villa are on a song as they defeat West Ham at the Villa Park. A fine performance yet again by Unai Emery’s men who make it 11 home games undefeated. Douglas Luis scored a brace with Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey adding to the score sheet. Jarrod Bowen had a consolation goal to reduce the goal difference a bit.


Tottenham vs Fulham

               James Maddison (54’) assisted by Son Heung-min

Match Facts: The Premier League matchday 9 was rounded off in some style by Tottenham Hotspur who remain unbeaten in the Premier League alongside Arsenal. An easy 2-0 win against Fulham made sure they stay top of the table. Exceptional again Son Heung-min was on target as well as on the assist charts for Spurs. Doesn’t feel like they miss Harry Kane at all.
