Celtic – H vs Atletico de Madrid - A

The Champions League night starts as Celtic Park hosts Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in what could be a great encounter a month with teams that have had a good run of form in their respective leagues. A home advantage might help the green and whites to register their first win of the tournament with The La Roniblancos hoping to stay on top of the group.

The first match in the group of death will be at Saint James Park where Newcastle will host German giants Borussia Dortmund. Both the teams are coming on from a winning streak with Alexander Isak hoping to face his former side with the black and yellows letting him leave for a cheaper price for Real Sociedad.

A newly transformed PAG side with Mbappe in form and coming on from a defeat to Newcastle last time out will be hoping to do better this time out against a tough AC Milan side. The red and blacks will also be hoping to register their first win of the competition.

Lois Openda and Xavi Simons have had the best start to their careers in the city of Leipzig. The free-scoring side will be on a mission to register the top spot after the game on day 3. Serbian Champions Red Star will hope to come up with a draw at least to stay in the Europa League spots if they don’t qualify for the round of 16.

BSC Young Boys – H vs Manchester City - A

Erling Haaland has not been able to go replicate the same form he showed at the beginning of the season last time out. Scoring some games against weaker sides will certainly boost his morale. On the other end, Swiss Champions BSC Young Boys will host the English Champions at home and will hope to show their best game to earn a point.

Antwerp – H vs FC Porto – A

Champions League Matchday 3 will be rounded off when Belgium Champions Antwerp host FC Porto in their city. Antwerp is fourth in the group standings and FC Porto is second with some of their key players injured this time out. The Belgian outfit will be hoping to take advantage of the situation and make the home fans happy with a win hopefully.
