Fiorentina 'open' to sell club star Federico Chiesa amidst Juventus links
Fiorentina has considered the possibility of selling Federico Chiesa amidst links with league leaders Juventus.
According to reports around Italy, Internazionale, Manchester United and Chelsea are the other parties who are interested in signing the player.
The talented Italian has seven goals and five assists in 26 appearances this season and his performances on the right wing have been quite remarkable.
The 22-year old has been vital for his club for the past three seasons. He came through Fiorentina's academy system back in 2016.
He also broke through the Italy national team in the year 2018 earning eleven caps in the starting year itself.
Totally, he has featured 17 times for the Gli Azzuri . Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso has admitted that the club are listening to several offers and has placed the decision in the hands of the player
In an exclusive interview with Radio Bruno Toscana , Comisso stated,
"We had a meeting before Christmas if I'm not mistaken,"
"If he wants to go then I'm sorry, but we'd accommodate him, providing the offer is fair. We must also see what he's worth.
"His transfer value may have dropped since last year. It must suit everyone, although there's a chance that he'll stay.
"I haven't offered Federico anything. There hasn't been a proposal, it's fake news. The important thing is that a player wants to stay.
"Many players have understood that Fiorentina are aiming high. I don't want to put anything in Chiesa’s mouth, he’s a very good lad.
"We have a very good relationship and I want to keep him. I want to do the right thing for Fiorentina and, if he wants to go, we'll accommodate him."
"There's Juventus, but there are also other teams in Europe." He went on to add further
Fiorentina currently stand 13th in the Serie A table and they will be looking forward to get hold on their talisman for some more time
