Hyderabad FC vs FC Goa: Indian Super League Prediction,Preview, Head to Head and Team News

Hyderabad FC will lock horns with FC Goa as the two sides meet each other on Wednesday.

The Nizams were undefeated for a while in the league but suddenly, they have lost two successive games. They will be hoping to get back on the pitch as soon as possible in order to make things right.

Juan Ferrando and co. did not have the best time in the best game. However, Igor Angulo was again to the rescue and he managed to win the three points for the Gaurs against Jamshedpur FC.

Manolo Marquez has missed some key players recently and he would hope that his team gets fitter and back to their best soon.

Goa had a mixed start to the season but they have made sure that they don't collapse in the points tally.

Angulo and Brandon Fernandes have been instrumental in the developments Goa have made and any kind of trouble to either of them could cost the Gaurs a lot.

Head to Head

The sides have only played each other twice, with the Gaurs managing victory in both the games.

Fact Check

Manolo Marquez was the coach of Las Palmas in the La Liga before he took the job of the head coach of Hyderabad  FC.

The Nizams have scored the third-lowest goals in the tournament this term, only a goal above SC East Bengal and Odisha FC who have scored five.

Team News

After a while now, Joel Chianese and Lluis Sastre will be in contention to feature in the squad. The team have also signed Roland Alberg on loan and the player is expected to join the club when the January transfer window is officially commenced. Fran Sandaza may start as well.

The Gaurs do not have any concerns. However, there are still certainties about the rotation and the XI that may feature in the forthcoming game.

Players to Look For

Akash Mishra (Hyderabad FC)

Akash is a huge prospect for the Nizams and he has already proven himself this season. His approach towards every game is considered very classy, while his ball distribution is amazing.

However, he will have to tighten himself up more as there may be too much defending for him against Goa.

Alexander Jesuraj (FC Goa)

Jesuraj has three assists so far in the tournament, and that is something big for a player who has the likes of Fernandes, Edu Bedia, Igor Angulo around him.

His crossing ability from the right is exceptional, and he will be very prominent in the Gaur's upcoming clash with the Nizams.

Prediction

The game could go either way as both the teams are desperate for the three points. A win here can take Goa into the top four, something that would be their most basic target to achieve.

The Nizams will have to get sharer on the offensive in order to trouble the Gaurs.

They will have to be clinical and ensure that the likes of Anulo, Jesuraj, and Fernandes don't slip through.
