King James Reigns in LA: LeBron James Commits to the City of Angels!

LEBRON JAMES STAYING IN LOS ANGELES

A few days back reports given by Shams Chariana Kyrie Irving want Lebron James to join Dallas Mavericks and form a big 3 with LUKA Doncic Kyrie Irving and Lebron James. But as per the Lebron James contract and his son joining USC, it looks like an impossibility that Lebron James will head to Dallas Mavericks.

The family could be the biggest factor in NBA's future with the Los Angeles Lakers star wanted by the Dallas Mavericks. According to the NBA writer Mark Medina, the NBA Leadin g scorer 4 time NBA champion has been linked with Dallas Mavericks but such a move doesn’t make sense for Lebron James and his family.

In 2022 Lebron James signed an extension of 2 years for $97.1 million that sees him under contract until the 2024-25 season. This deal made him the highest Player in NBA History.

After exiting from 2023 with a 4-0 sweep from Denver Nuggets in NBA Western Conference Finals, Lebron James hinted at the possibility of retirement, but as reported by Brian Lewis of the New York Post it may be that this was a strategic move forced lakers into being aggressive in the offseason.

Lebron James has always told that he wants to retire in Lakers Uniform, He knows what it means to be able to finish his career with the Lakers, Not to forget he is in a much better position with the Lakers now by going to the Western Conference finals than the Dallas Mavericks were, without even making the Play-in tournament.

As per ESPN, the 38-year-old averaged 27.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 55 regular season games, showing that he is still playing at the highest competitive level after being in for 20 seasons in NBA.

The 4 times NBA Champion has made it known that his dream is to play on an NBA court with his son Bronny who will be starting at USC in the fall, only 1.7 miles away from where the Los Angeles Lakers Play. This makes the 18-year-old eligible to be drafted in 2024 meaning that Lebron James would be looking to play for at least 2 more seasons for any chance of this dream which will be achieved.

So while there are rumors of either their retirement or his move to the Dallas Mavericks to team up with Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic that many have argued, to make the most sense for one of the Greatest of all time is by staying at Los Angeles Lakers.
