Manchester United to make a move for English wonderkid

Manchester United have made a £12.5million offer for Birmingham wonderkid Jude Bellingham as per reports in England.

The 16-year-old has emerged as one of the biggest talents in the world in recent months and has attracted interest from clubs across the whole of Europe.

However, it is reported that Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan is himself working on a deal for the English wonderkid who has already represented the Three Lions at under-15, under-16 and under-17 level.

It is reported that two Premier League clubs have already made offers for the youngsters and Manchester United are one of them.

The 16-year-old has already made 24 senior appearances for the Blues having made his debut in August 2019, at the age of 16 years and 38 days, thus becoming the club's youngest ever first-team player.

The central midfielder has found the back of the net three times and has provided one assist. Although he is naturally a central midfielder, the 16-year-old has already shown a lot of versatility for a player of his age having already featured as a number ten and on both flanks.

Birmingham City are one of the best teams in England in terms of youth development and Bellingham is the latest player who looks like a real world-class talent.

However, Bellingham might not be the only centre-midfielder moving to Old Trafford this month. The Red Devils are also said to be working on a deal to bring Portuguese superstar Bruno Fernandes at the club having missed out on him last summer.

As per reports in England, Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side are ready to make Sporting Lisobon a formal £51million offer for Bruno Fernandes.

The 25-year-old has an £85m release clause in his contract although Sporting look very much willing to cash in on their priced asset if they are offered around £60m for the midfielder's services.

However, the Red Devils believe they can drive the price down for Fernandes and will come in with a lower bid to test Sporting’s resolve.
