This German veteran ace is considering an exit to the Premier League!

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller could be leaving his boyhood club after 20 years with the Bavarian giants. Premier League giants Manchester United reportedly have their eyes on him and could try to get him during the summer transfer window as per reports in England.

Over the last two seasons under Niko Kovac, the former World Cup winner has slipped down the pecking order. Kovac was sacked after just 18 months in charge and has since been replaced by Hans-Dieter Flick, who was the assistant coach of the German national team under Joachim Low from 2006-2014.

Although he has played more and is likely to keep playing more under Flick, Muller has expressed the possibility of a move away from the Allianz Arena.

On his future, he told the media: "My focus is exclusively on being successful this season.

"What will happen in the summer, I will talk to the club and consider my options. Then let's see in which direction things will go."

When asked about how far he is away from agreeing terms with his boyhood club Bayern, he said: ''With such a thing, all parties have to put their arguments in the pot.

"Let's see if you can make an agreement there.

"You just have to compare what all parties want."

The German international has just 18 months left on his contract, which ends in 2021. He signed an extension with Bayern in 2015.

Muller admitted in 2017 that two years earlier, he had considered a move to Old Trafford after falling out of favour at the club, struggling to secure a first-team spot.

The then-United boss Louis Van Gaal offered £85m for the German forward who broke into the Bayern side under his management only. The move failed to materialize back then but the German international has always been linked with the Red Devils.

The 30-year-old joined the German giants back in 2000 as part of the youth system and has won a total of eight league titles, five German Cups and the Champions League in 2013 as well.
