Sacramento Kings vs LA Lakers: NBA 2021 Prediction | Preview | Head-to-Head

It's Fantastic Friday and we have a great game lined up as Sacramento Kings visit the Staples Center to play the Los Angeles Lakers

The LA Lakers are yet to hit their best form, but they will be hopeful of a promising performance as the Sacramento Kings themselves aren't anyway near their best. Both sides have a lot to fight for, and it will be intriguing to see how the teams pave a way for victory.

Sacramento Kings vs LA Lakers: Head-to-head Record

The LA Lakers have played the Sacramento Kings 436 times over years in regular-season meetings, and the hosts of Friday are ahead with 278 wins, losing 158 games.

Even in the playoffs, the Lakers have earned triumphs on 25 occasions against the Kings, losing just 11.

The last time the two played each other, the Lakers prevailed comfortably with a 115-94 win.

Sacramento Kings Current Form

The past couple of months haven't been the most rewarding for the Sacramento Kings, and their chances of finishing in the top ten are obsolete.

Despite starting well, successive losses resulted in their position slipping down as they managed to bottle a decent start to the season.

Their last five games involved two wins, and three losses, with the side sitting in 12th position with 25 wins and 37 defeats. A win against the LA Lakers could prove beneficial for their upcoming games on road.

Sacramento Kings Injuries

Harrison Barnes is doubtful due to a groin problem, while De'Aaron Fox is out due to coronavirus. Marvin Bagley is out of contention due to a hand problem.

LA Lakers Current Form

The Lakers are fifth but that still doesn't mean that they have performed well as per their standards. Injuries came at inappropriate times, and the absence of their big guns like Anthony Davis and LeBron James has been key in their deteriorating form.

However, the reigning Champions still racked up triumphs against Hornets, Nets, and Raptors in April. However, just then they went on a run of four games without a victory, exacerbating their chances to finish higher.

As things stand, the LA Lakers have 36 wins and 26 losses so far in the 2021 NBA season.

LA Lakers Injuries

Anthony Davis is out due to a calf concern, Jared Dudley is sidelined due to a knee injury, while LeBron James has an ankle problem. Kyle Kuzma is out too, while Marc Gasol is struggling with his hamstring.

Sacramento Kings vs LA Lakers: Live Streaming Options

The game will be available for Livestreaming on NBA TV.

The live telecast of the game can also be viewed on national television on broadcast channels like ABC, cable networks ESPN and TNT.

Sacramento Kings vs LA Lakers Prediction

The prediction wouldn't have been a problem last season, but this time it is very uncertain as to which side will step up. LA Lakers have a lot to fight for, but it's not that the Sacramento Kings can relax.

They do have a point to prove, and a victory here could be a cornerstone for something that they could cherish by the end of this season.

Anthony Davis' return puts the reigning Champions in the driver's seat, and the Kings will have to toil hard to put up a show.
