Top five teams with most wins in day-night Test matches
Given that test cricket was reportedly "dying," changes had to be made to the game's longest format in order to maintain its appeal to players of all ages. Therefore, the ICC introduced day-night matches. These are played with a pink ball.
The inaugural day-night test between Australia and New Zealand took place at Adelaide Oval in 2015. Ten of the 12 test-playing countries have so far played day-night test cricket matches.
Fans have readily embraced this version of the game, and it has undoubtedly increased interest in test cricket.
In this article, let’s talk about the record of the top five teams in pink-ball tests.
5. New Zealand – 1 Win
In December 2015, New Zealand participated in the first day-night test against Australia, which was played at Adelaide Oval. In all, they have played four games: two against England and two against Australia. While they played home pink-ball matches against England, both of their matches against Australia took place in Australia.
