The World Test Championship 2023 final will be played between India and Australia from June 7 at the Oval Stadium in London. Both teams qualified for the final of the WTC following the two year period. Team India will be aiming to win the prestigious title after failing to do so in 2021. This will be India’s second appearance in the WTC final. On the other hand, Australia will be playing their first WTC final and would look to win this title in their first appearance in the final.

Team News

India has been dealing with some major injury blows before this match. The BCCI has announced an updated team with few replacements. Wicket keeper Batter Ishan Kishan got injured while practicing in the nets. If he does not get fully fit and will not be available for the final squad, India will be left with only one wicket keeping option, KS Bharat. 

Australia got a big blow before the WTC final as their seam bowler Josh Hazlewood is not fully fit and has been ruled out of the final. Michael Neser has been named as his replacement in the squad.
