Arsenal vs Tottenham: Harry Kane record vs Arsenal
Another action-packed match awaits in the North London derby as the Gunners will host Tottenham in one of the most anticipated games this weekend. On the eve of this fixture we take a look at the goalscoring record of Harry Kane vs Arsenal
Arsenal has picked up two wins in the last five games, which could probably be their end of losing streaks.
The Gunners have struggled to win games and currently sit at 13th place as they face Spurs which will be another tough fixture for them and another testing point for Arteta's men, who has been rumored to be sacked if he fails to deliver.
While Tottenham had a great start under the new coach but failed to continue their winning streak as they suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Crystal Palace and Chelsea. Spurs talisman Harry Kane has been out of form, who is the top scorer of London Derby.
Harry Kane record vs Arsenal
The England skipper Harry Kane last scored against Arsenal in a 2-0 win over last season in the Premier League (2020-21), surpassing Emmanuel Adebayor's 10 goals record in this fixture.
This means that Kane is now the all-time top goalscorer in the North London Derby with 11 goals.
In the 2-0 win over Arsenal in the 2020-21 season, Kane also netted the 250th goal of his professional career for club and country combined and his 100th for Tottenham in all competitions.
Out of the 11 goals scored by Kane against Arsenal, three goals have come at Emirates Stadium and eight goals at Spurs' home ground.
This season Tottenham have scored only three goals and conceded six, and neither of them has scored by Harry Kane, as he has been struggling in front of goal.
Now the Spurs will travel to Emirates this weekend, and Harry Kane will have the opportunity to open his goal-scoring account which could add more goals to this tally.
A similar case happened with him during the England games, as he failed to find the net. However, after scoring against Germany, Kane notched up more three goals and was the third-best scorer in the Euro 2020.
Once he finds his rhythm, he becomes rampant in front of the goal. It's just a matter of time before he finds his scoring groove and leads the Spurs in this campaign.
