The Italy national team for the Euro 2021 is filled with star players as their attacking line would include rising Juventus star Federico Chiesa, who was a key player for the Italian club last season.

Joining Chiesa would be Lazio’s Ciro Immobile who has been one of the best strikers in the last couple of seasons.

With Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernadeschi providing support on either flank, it is hard to deny the fact that this Italy team has got some serious firepower going into the Euro 2021 Championship.

Midfielders would include Paris Saint Germain’s Marco Verratti, Chelsea’s Jorginho, and Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella. All three have had great seasons with their respective clubs, especially Jorginho, who managed to win the Champions League with Chelsea.

The Italian defense is completely stacked as well with the Juventus duo Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini and Roma’s wall Leonardo Spinazzola. These are only a few stars that are within the team to get you the gist of how dangerous this team is.

A special mention for AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma who will be filling the shoes of Italy's legendary goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon. Donnarumma is a serial shot-stopper.

The Italy national team will be led at the Euro 2021 by the one and only Roberto Mancini. A brilliant tactician, Mancini's profile includes managing teams like Lazio, Inter Milan, Manchester City, and other football clubs.

Roberto Mancini has won the Italian Cup 4 times, the Italian Super Cup 2 times, he has also won the Italian league thrice, the FA Cup once, and the English League once.

The former Man City manager took over the reins as the Italian national team manager at the lowest point in the country's illustrious football history having failed to qualify for the World Cup in Russia in 2018.

Since taking charge, Roberto Mancini has set a national record for most wins in a single calendar year, and currently boasting the second-best win ratio of any Italian manager who has taken charge of more than 10 games.

Mancini prefers a 4-3-3 formation for this Italian team with a fluid attacking style.

Verratti would be one of the senior figures in the Italy team at the Euro 2021 having donned 40 international caps for the Italians. The 'Azzurri' would hope that Verratti can dictate the tempo and control the midfield alongside Jorginho and Barella.

Giorgio Chiellini

Chiellini is already regarded as an Italian footballing legend. He is expected to captain his side in hopes of the Euro Cup glory. With Chiellini at the back alongside Bonucci, it would be difficult for opposing attackers to get space in the penalty box.

Ciro Immobile

The Italian striker has already proved himself to be great at a domestic level for his club. This would be the best chance for Immobile to make the world aware of how good he really is.
