Senegal wins 6-3 against Tahiti
Senegal delivered a dominant performance to defeat Tahiti 6-3 in their second Group C clash, showcasing resilience and firepower in a game full of momentum swings.
The match exploded into life just three minutes in, with Sylla giving Senegal an early advantage. But Tahiti quickly responded — Taiarui fired home a powerful equaliser midway through the first period. Just before the buzzer, Chan-Kat dazzled with clever footwork and finished with an acrobatic strike, putting Tahiti 2-1 ahead heading into the second period.

Tahiti built on their lead early in the second as Paama found the net, giving his side a two-goal cushion. However, Senegal responded swiftly — Diagne capitalised on a goalkeeping error to narrow the gap. The match continued at a frantic pace, and with just a minute left in the period, Gadiaga struck to level the score at 3-3.
The final period belonged to Senegal. Goalkeeper Faye stunned the crowd with a long-range strike to give his team the lead. Sylla then added his second of the match, increasing the advantage, before Diagne completed his brace with a late goal to seal a commanding 6-3 win.
With this result, Senegal bolsters its position in Group C, demonstrating both grit and attacking flair.
Spain wins 4-2 against Chile
Spain continued their impressive Group C campaign with a composed 4-2 win over Chile in their second group stage fixture. The match got off to a fast start as Suli Batis opened the scoring just three minutes in, finishing clinically after being teed up by Kuman.
Chile responded well, drawing level through a superb header from San Martin. But Spain’s captain, Chiky Ardil, quickly regained the lead for La Roja with a decisive strike. Kuman then added a third late in the first period, giving Spain a commanding 3-1 advantage heading into the break.

Four minutes into the third period, Suli Batis capitalised on a defensive lapse to score his second of the match, effectively sealing the game at 4-1. Chile pulled one back through Araya in the closing stages, but it was too little, too late.

Oman wins 7-6 on penalties against El Salvador, after a 4-4 draw in the match
Oman registered a dramatic 7–6 victory in a penalty shootout over El Salvador after a pulsating 4–4 draw in extra time in their second Group D clash.
Musallam gave Oman an early lead with a sharp finish, but El Salvador responded in style before the end of the first period, as Cerna leveled the score with a spectacular overhead kick.
The second period saw El Salvador seize control, with Batres and Castro adding their names to the scoresheet. However, Yahya struck back for Oman to keep the contest tight at 3–2.
El Salvador extended their lead in the final period through Velasquez, but Oman staged a spirited comeback. Salim quickly narrowed the deficit before grabbing a late equaliser to complete his brace and send the game into extra time.
Despite end-to-end action in the added minutes, neither side could find a winner. In the tense penalty shootout that followed, Oman held their nerve to prevail 7–6, earning a crucial point from a fiercely contested encounter.
Brazil wins 2-1 against Italy
In a highly anticipated rematch of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2024 final, top-ranked Brazil narrowly defeated second-ranked Italy 2-1 in a gripping Group D clash. The contest lived up to expectations, with both teams displaying tactical discipline and flashes of brilliance throughout.
The opening period was tightly contested, as both sides balanced aggressive attacks with solid defensive work. Just when it seemed the first frame would end scoreless, Brazil took advantage of a rare goalkeeping lapse. Mauricinho was quick to react, slotting home in the final minute to give the South Americans a 1-0 lead.
