FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025 match schedule confirmed
FIFA has released the match schedule for the historic FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025, revealing the dates and kick-off times for the 16-team event, which will be hosted by a member association of CAF for the first time.
The 13th edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will commence on May 1 in Victoria, located on the island of Mahé, with the final scheduled for May 11. Famously the fastest, most action-packed and goal-heavy format of any FIFA event, the tournament is expected to feature a series of captivating matchups. The competition will unfold over 11 thrilling days in a stunningly picturesque setting, beginning with a round-robin group stage, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final.

Thirteen of the 16 participating teams have already qualified for this year’s edition of the world’s premier beach soccer competition.
Brazil, the reigning champions and six-time winners of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, along with two-time champions Portugal and last year's finalists Italy, are among the teams who have already qualified. Chile, Guatemala, Mauritania and the Seychelles will all be making their tournament debuts, with the event set to mark the host nation’s first appearance at a FIFA global event.
The tournament comes shortly after the highly successful FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup UAE 2024 Dubai™, which attracted over 70,000 spectators.
Preparations for the forthcoming edition are progressing rapidly, with the Official Match Ball, the Official Poster, and TiKay, the mascot, already revealed to the public. Over the coming weeks, fans can also look forward to the release of a brand-new tournament song, the final draw and of course the launch of ticket sales.
