One of the highly anticipated games of Premier League game week seven ended in a 2-2 draw, as both the teams produced a masterclass performance.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Phil Foden, Mohamed Salah and a late equalizer from Kevin de Bruyne saw the game ending in a stalemate.

As both the teams bagged a hard-earned point, we take a look at players performance and their ratings.

Liverpool: Player ratings

Alisson Becker:  A poor half performance but repaid with few great saves from Phil Foden shots and thwarting Foden again with good runs and judgements with the ball. He also conceded two goals.

Our player rating for Allison for the Liverpool vs Man City match is 6.5/10.

James Milner: He wasn’t very useful in Trent Alexander-Arnold’s place and struggled to cope up with Foden. Almost gave away a penalty and made few errors while defending; he would have been sent off with his rash tackling.

Sportco's player rating for Milner is a 4/10.

Joel Matip: Formed a great tandem with Van Dijk, as Matip had a brilliant pass distribution for the match. Manchester City wouldn’t have scored if it wasn’t for his deflection, which ball cannoned of his midriff and into the net. Our player rating for Matip for yesterday's game between Liverpool vs Man City is a 7/10.

Virgil van Dijk: It was one of those games where Virgil van Dijk's presence was crucial for Liverpool as they would have conceded alot more goals if wasn't the Dutchman. Sportco's rating for van Dijk is a 6.5/10.

Andrew Robertson: Robertson showed why he’s the most important player on the left flank and kept the balance in defense and attack throughout the game.  Sportco's player rating for Robertson is a 6/10.

Jordan Henderson: Had a torrid game in midfield. The Liverpool captain failed to stamp his authority on the midfield, as the Man City midfielders were too good for the Englishman. Player Rating for Henderson is a meagre 5/10.

Fabinho: 5/10. Played decently overall, regularly pestered by Grealish. Couldn’t show great judgement on the ball and should have scored the winner, which could have been the winning goal of the game.

Curtis Jones: Jones was at his industrious best, however, he found it diffcult to cope with the sleak passing and movement of the Man City midfielders like Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri. Had a poor first half, but showed his prominence with few strong challenges in the second half. Player Rating: 6/10.

Diogo Jota: He was kept quiet in the first half by City’s defenders but made Ederson do hard work with his shots and was much more involved after the break. Player Rating: 6/10.

Sadio Mane: Great finish to start the scoring fiesta in the 2nd half, but failed to cause much impact on the Man City defence and was frustrated by giving the ball away regularly. Mane's player rating for the game is 6.5/10.

Mohamed Salah:  The Egyptian was not to be seen in the first half, although he compensated it with an assist and a wondergoal in the second half.

Our Player Rating for Mo Salah for the Liverpool vs Man City game is an 8.5/10 for his magnificent solo goal.

Substitutes: Roberto Firmino: 4/10 Joe Gomez: 6/10.

Manchester City: Player Ratings

Ederson: Man City's prime playmaking goalkeeper. His passing and distribution of the ball is a major weapon for City. Made a handful of saves and delivered a great long pass to Foden in the first half.

However, bad judgement of ball during a cross, which could have resulted in a winning goal for Liverpool. Conceded two goals, which were difficult to stop. Player rating for Ederson: 6/10

Kyle Walker: Made useful runs and also troubled Van Dijk constantly, overall satisfactory performance. Player Rating for Kyle Walker for the Liverpool vs Man City game is a 7.5/10.

Ruben Dias: Would not be happy with the two goals conceded. However, the Portuguese international had a decent game for Man City. Got booked for hauling down Diogo Jota. Sportco's player rating for Ruben Dias is a 6.5/10.

Aymeric Laporte: Laporte didn't have much to do in the first half as City controlled the proceedings. However, he was troubled by Salah most of the time and had a busier second half. Liverpool vs Man City Player Rating for Laporte is a 6/10.

Joao Cancelo: Made major errors in the second half and was the reason for Liverpool’s opening goal. Was booked as well in the second half. Player Rating: 5/10

Rodri: 8/10. Right place at the right time and prevented Liverpool from scoring the winner in the closing stage of the game. The Spaniard is slowly becoming the Sergio Busquets of Man City. Player Rating: 8/10.

Kevin De Bruyne:  Was quiet in the first half, although he provided some of his trademark through balls. Missed a sitter in the first half, however, the Belgian compensated that with a second equalizer for Pep Guardiola to make it 2-2. Hence, Kevin De Bruyne's player rating for the Liverpool vs Man City game is a 7.5/10.

Bernardo Silva: Was a nightmare for Liverpool’s midfield today; showed confident while taking Liverpool players and dribbles were Messi-esque. Provided some brilliant passes to Foden in the first half. Bernardo Silva's player rating for the Liverpool vs Man City game is a deserving 8.5/10.

Gabriel Jesus: He wasn’t very effective today going forward playing out from his natural position, but he worked hard on the right-wing and assisted in City’s equalizer. Player Rating: 7/10.

Phil Foden: Man of the Match. Had one of his best games in a Man City shirt. Foden has scored each time he has played against Liverpool. The young Englishman created havoc on the left, constantly getting behind the Liverpool defense and being a constant threat.

Scored a beautiful low shot past Alisson to equalize for City in the second half. Could have scored a hattrick if it had not been for the exploits of Alisson Becker. Overall brilliant performance.

Our Player Rating for Phil Foden for the Liverpool vs Man City game is a 9/10.

Jack Grealish: Didn’t show much impact playing as a false nine. We are certain the Englishman would be made more impact playing his natural left attacking position.  Player Rating: 5/10.

Substitute; Raheem Sterling: 6/10
