Man United vs West Ham: Red Devils vs The Hammers Preview | Prediction | H2H | Team News

Man United are set to host David Moyes' West Ham United on Sunday, 14th March at Old Trafford with both teams in a good run of form going into this fixture.

Any other year this would be just a normal fixture but this season, the fixture has an appeal of its own and surprisingly, it's the Hammers who have stun, everyone, this season.

David Moyes and Co. have a bright opportunity to participate in European competition next season, and a win against the Red Devils would take them a point clear of Chelsea, who play Leeds on Saturday.

A win for West Ham would take them level on points with Chelsea who drew at Leeds in the early lunchtime kick-off on Saturday. However, West Ham United will have a game in hand.

Man United ended Manchester City's 21-game winning streak but disappointingly ended the week, conceding a last-minute equalizer to AC Milan at home.

Considering the game is at the Theatre of Dreams, things could go either way but Man United will be content that their loaned player and West Ham star, Jesse Lingard will miss the game due to the new rules and regulations implementation from last season.

In their last five games in all competitions, the Hammers have lost twice and both these losses have come against the Manchester clubs, against the league leaders in the league and their Sunday opponents in the FA Cup.
