Iran names squad for 2025 Beach Soccer World Cup
Iran’s head coach, Ali Naderi, has officially unveiled his 12-man squad for the upcoming 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, set to take place in Seychelles from May 1 to 11. The announcement confirms Iran’s readiness to challenge the world’s elite as they aim to go even further than their impressive third-place finish in the previous edition.
This year’s tournament is historic for multiple reasons. Not only is it the first time the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be held in an African nation, but it also marks Seychelles’ debut as a FIFA event host—a significant milestone for the island nation and for African beach soccer as a whole.

With all 16 participating nations having now confirmed their final squads, anticipation is building for what promises to be an exciting, high-energy competition featuring top talent from across all six confederations.
Brazil, the reigning champions, will be looking to defend their title, but strong contenders like Iran are expected to provide stiff competition.
